Proverbs 15:3, “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.”
The world is a very large place. There are so many places for us to live and visit. From the bottom of the oceans to the tallest mountains, there is so much to be seen in this world. Our eyes can take in so much, sometimes beyond what we can store in our minds or outside of what our mind can comprehend. Even for all our eyes can do, God’s eyes are everywhere.
God can see everything at once. He can see what is happening in every building, in every place, at all times. God is everywhere. This shows the power of the God that we serve. We do not have to explain something to God about what we have seen because He already knows about it. God knows what we are going through, what we see, and what we hear. God cares about each and every one of us.
God watches over us. Like the Bible says, He watches over the evil and the good. He sees all the crimes that are committed. He sees all the good acts that are done. He sees the people who help and the people that harm. God is there for us so that we can talk to Him at any time. He sees us and He created us so we do not have to fear that we are alone at all. We may have doubts as to whether God is there but He is. He sees us when we are happy and sad, scared and nervous, angry and anxious. God is there to see us through.
God also “sees” us. He can see into our very hearts and souls. He can see what we are truly passionate about. We need to be careful to what we are truly passionate about. Our souls are the most important part of us. Our souls are what carry on to the next life. Our souls are thought to have “windows.” These windows are what God can peer into to see us, though He does not need them. God made us so He knows us. His eyes are everywhere and He knows our ways better than we could ever.
Thank You that You see us. You do not leave us to wander about aimlessly. We have purpose because of You. We have everything we need because You supply it. You truly care about us even if we cannot figure why. We are sinful. We are fragile. We turn our backs on You daily. Yet, You still love us. You love us and even sent Your Son to die for us. Thank You that You did that for us.
In Your name we pray,
