Make Noise and Worship to God

Psalms 47:1-2, “Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!  Shout to God with the voice of triumph!  For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.”

In case you didn’t know, we serve an awesome God.  If you didn’t know that, I am telling you now.  If you did know that, what are you doing with that information?  Our awesome God deserves our praise and our noise.  Shouts to the almighty!

Worship is defined as the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity (God).

When worshipping God, there are many ways to do this.  According to Psalms 47, the best way is clap your hands and shout praises to God.  For all that God has done, He deserves all that we can give from our worship of Him.

When worshipping, I find that everything else fades away.  It is just God and I in the room.  I am talking and singing to God and He is communicating with me.  Even when I am in a quiet room, I will be shouting to God in my mind (Keeping in mind to be respectful of others enjoying a quiet place).  God has done so much for us (everything).  If anything, we do not worship God enough.

Worshipping God does not need to only happen in church.  God can be worshipped and praised anywhere.  Even in prayer, God can be worshipped.  Worship God as much as you can.  Worship should be more of a focus.

What ways can you worship God more?  Today, I challenge you to look for more ways to honor and give praise to God.  I will do the same.  This is not something to be taken lightly; all must do this.  God deserves our praises of Him.  God deserves all we can give.  All to God!

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for all that You do daily.  When we wake up, You are there.  When we go to bed, You are there.  Let our praises of You ring throughout the world.  You deserve far more than our voices can give.  We are nothing without You.  You make us everything.  You are our King and we are Your people.  Help us to appreciate You more.

In Your name we pray,

Amen
